No matter how good of a deal it is, walk away. I got one on eBay for cheap. They are terrible, makes my bass drum sound like hitting a Rubbermaid tub. I got better sounds from a vocal mic.

I got 2 KAM floor tom mics at the Chicago Drum Show this year and I'm tockled pink with them. $20 a piece on special and they sound just as good as the Audix D4 I have.

Maybe its just the bass drum mic. Could always use it as an overhead I guess

Believe it or not, KAM mics, especially their ST2 snare/drum mics receive great reviews on a lot of the home-recording forums...I am seriously thinking about buying them.

Spoke to some drummers at my local Drum Collective, and everyone likes them.

I am thinking, you got a thud..no pun
