    Default 9 v. Phantom power

I've got a condenser mic without any phantom power. I've found a used phantom power supply box, but it uses a 9 volt battery. I think my mic need 48 volts, this won't work will it?

    in a nut shell

    yep that will work ..

just be careful when using phantom power with bad cables, if the active and neutral pins cross it can damage the preamp , my allen and heath desk has been in the shop for the last few months because of this issue.

better idea ...get a cheep pre amp ...

Art tube Mp, Presonus tubepre v2 and blue tube DP, Alesis Mictube duo
