Watched World War Z the other night. Loved it. Very intense film. Although, it was NOTHING like the book...at all. The movie could have been called, "Brad Pitt's Big 'Ol Scary Zombie Movie", and it would have been just as good.

WWZ was good. If you want to see a movie that has a ending you won't see coming, watch "Traitor" with Don Cheadle.

Had to take a group of girls to the new Percy Jackson movie (Sea of Monsters) a few weeks ago. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Made me want to read the books.

Saw a trailer for a movie called Free Birds coming out soon. Looked like it could be pretty funny. Anybody seen it with your little ones yet?

BlueSky, I haven't seen the new Percy Jackson. I did see the first one and it is nothing like the books - the books are GREAT! If you at all liked the movie, I highly recommend the books.

Oh, I know. I had a bunch of mini Siskel and Eberts in the back of my van on the way home critiquing the movie. This one was the most vocal:

Sadly, after the others got dropped off, I still had to listen to her because she lives with me. This is her Halloween costume, minus the Yankees hat and necklace.
She's read all the books, and finished House of Hades 2 days after it came in the mail.

"What movie is it y'all want to see?"

    "FREEBIRDS!!!"

(Us old Rednecks will understand that joke, LOL)

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

For some unknown reason, that looks like a CARTOON to me.

Which 1 is Stallone and which 1 is Willis?

The title alone is enough for me to want to give it a try.

And I am not an old redneck...but I totally get the joke. I prefer to be called a southern belle....or just a chick that knows good music when she hears it.
