A few months ago i went watching Benny Greb. Not the kind of music i listen to but it was awesome! He's a really decent and funny guy as well which makes it all the more enjoyable. Played to some tracks he'd written and composed himself (Including 'Grebfruit' :D) and went over some techniques. Great time

i havent been to a clinic yet either. Bernard Purdie was doing one in rochester this summer, but of course i was in NYC for a concert that weekend. i would have driven two hours out there to see him without question. just think, to hear the original purdie shuffle in person. woulda been nice.

I saw Virgil Donatti in Gateshead North East England at a Premier drums clinic and after his first solo with his amazing double pedal speed he asked if anybody had any questions and a guy shouted out; "How many legs have you got?"
He went on to explain how to play in 19/4 time. Awesome!

I go to my local drum shop and purchase my sticks. I like to touch them before I buy them ;-)
