Highway To Hell by AC/DC.
Hey guys,
I've been taking lessons, both with a live instructor and a video DVD series, and I've been learning quite a bit and making some progress. But, I'd like to try to actually play a song all the way through. It would have to be something VERY simple, and preferably in the classic rock genre. Does anybody have any ideas? And if so, is there a how-to video or some other simple way to see how to play it? At this point in my drumming journey, it would be heartening to be able top play along with something!
Thanks in advance for any great ideas!

Highway To Hell by AC/DC.
OOOOOOO, that looks doable! Thank you! Now that you've mentioned it, I think this is the song my teacher told me I'd be working on a little bit down the road. If I pick this up NOW, boy, will I be able to impress him!

Keep it simple. If there is a part or two that trips you up a bit, just keep it basic.
I air drummed the heck out of that song before I ever sat behind a kit. I credit that song as my first ever learned.
You can do it!
I've tried it for a bit...the only issue for me at the moment is the two rapid kick beats, due to my disability, but I think i can get it! Thanks, guys!

Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger is another really easy one. And fun.
Most AC/DC songs are good to learn.. 1st song I ever learned was Back in Black.

But on a serious note, you should try Not For You by Pearl Jam.
Basically a straight kick-hat-snare-hat pattern all the way through, but with some variation on cymbals.
