Sat or Sun.

We also hate to practice the night before a gig.
Superstition says it brings bad luck.
I was the first Wednesday vote, BTW.
Gretsch USA & Zildjian(What Else Would I Ever Need ?)
We practice Thursdays and the rare Sunday.
Always on Sunday and most of us get together on Wednesdays to work on various stuff/hang out.
Why does it matter? Curious.
all the best..
I'm thinking it probably doesn't. Just fodder for a thread. Doesn't hurt, this place has been pretty dead lately.
My band usually practiced on a Wednesday. Sometimes Friday, but usually Wednesday.

It varies depending on gigs and schedule. I practice almost every day.
We avoid practice the day before as well. Seems like when we do, the gig doesn't go very well. It always seems like the best we play is when we haven't played together in several weeks. I guess everyone is "amped up" that way and seems to pay closer attention to everyone else. If we have a good practice the night before a gig, we almost always screw up during the gig.....overconfidence maybe?

Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
One of them we agreed to be flexible with rehearsals, the other one I haven’t started playing with that group yet so I dunno what the arrangements will be for that group.
Wednesday
friday, saturday and sunday are gig days
Some Wednesdays and most Sundays, although the Wednesdays might change soon.

Does'nt really matter, I am just curious on the most popular days. I always thought most bands rehearsed tue, wed, or thu. but I am seeing sunday is pretty popular as well.. I just got back together with an old band I used to play with and we decided on sundays and I thought that was odd but I see it's not. The only day I am totally against is Mon., we tried it a few times and ughhh I always felt like canceling as did most everyone else and our playing always showed it as well.. Kind of defeated the purpose.

With one band on Sunday's @ noon and the other band Tuesday nights.
One of my bands rehearses on Tuesday evenings after work.
My other band rehearses on Saturdays since the guitar players live in the same town and the bass player and I live in different towns. I live 2 hours away from where we rehearse in this band.
We play our own music and have been doing it a looooong time so we don't rehearse that often and when we do we run through old stuff quickly and concentrate on new tunes.
Careful man, there's a beverage here!
Wednesdays after church.
Thursdays seem to work best for us. It's close enough to Friday/Saturday to serve as a tune-up for the gig (if appropriate), and likewise far enough from the last gig to rest or learn our parts on anything new that we want to map out at the next practice.
I'm in two bands one practices mon, wed, sat and the other tue and thur
We were Sun Tues Thurs now either Tues or Thurs.

We used to always be Wednesday and Sunday, every week for a long time. Now 3 of the members are in engineering and we'd be lucky to get one jam in a month.
Don't you hate it when a sentence doesn't end the way you octopus?
i wish we had regular practice as a band... in both bands i play with, all the members are responsible to show up to the gigs knowing the material. it's nice to not have to devote an entire evening to rehearsal with family and the work schedule i have... but i still would like to have some sort of routine even if it's not every week.
Tuesdays, it was Tuesdays and Sundays for a while whilst we got our singer up to scratch.
