Shane that was awesome. Wish I had learned bells or another instrument besides drums.

That was cool Shane.................good stuff
Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. I had arranged that piece for percussion ensemble several years before and had a free weekend, so figured I might as well record it. It took WAY longer than I thought it would, but was plenty of fun in the end.
Well done. Now we need to see one for Xmas.
That was really cool.

I love to play the bells and the xylophone. I have played them in high school.
I shall - thanks for the vote of confidence.
Thanks!
Thanks Bob! I'm always on the lookout for entertaining things I can play and share. I glad they are well liked.
Keep at it. A vast majority of percussionists never get any sort of mallet training and don't develop those skills. I can't say that they are hugely valuable to me outside of teaching and school bands, but I feel like a more rounded musician for being able to understand tonal music theory.
I don't know if anyone noticed but this thread made Drum Bum's last e-mail newsletter. They often reference threads in here and this one fit into a Halloween theme they did.

I did see that and appreciate it greatly. All members here should sign up for that newsletter. DrumBum has a ton of cool stuff that might otherwise fly under your radar.
Also - I thought this was a bit funny. It's my analytics page for this video. Can you spot which day was Halloween?
You're very talented Shane! The video production value was awesome as well as the playing!! Thanks for sharing!!
