    Default Zildjian oriental china

Just picked up a 16' china oriental at GC, got the 15% off black friday deal and i must say i really like this thing. I use it mostly as a accent cymbal and it adds just the right amount of trash to some rock songs \m/

How quick is the decay? The Oriental chinas that I have played all rang out way too long for me, except the 12".

Not a bad deal, and it's a great cymbal!

The sustain on my 18" Oriental China is pretty average I think. Not too quick, but not too long where it's annoying. Maybe if I am playing by myself it's a little long, but when it's mixed with guitars and everything else, it has the perfect decay for an accent cymbal right where I like it.
