sweet deal, the bass looks like a monster, even though its just a 22x18, probably because of that 10 in rack tom
    Happy Drumming!

I've never been a fan of that pearl tom hardware mounting. After buying a yamaha with the ball mount system those are annoying. I have a pearl snare drum with that style mount that I still use on my rack.

Kit looks nice though. I love a simple setup. So easy to play on

It sounds amazing! So much thump and tone! You can feel it in your chest with an Evans G-Mad!

Natural finished drums always look superb in any setting! The lacquer on it has such a deep look to it!

The hardware work perfectly fine for me with the optimounts, especially with this small setup. I've never had a problem getting them where I wanted them, but I never did really care for the I.S.S mounts that used to be on my Prestige Session Select kit. I've since changed the racks to optimounts and the floor toms were given legs.

This setup is soooo easy to play on!

I agree with you dirtysticks the optimount is a great system and never had any issues positioning my toms. Can't figure why people hate them so much if they were so bad then why is Pearl still putting them on their high end kits. They are the best IMO

What a deal. that set looks great. I like the wood finish on sets. I don't know but after buying my first set of drums it seem I caught the bug to get more gear. So now I own 2 sets of drums and 3 snares and still want more.

Looks good. I used to set my old Mapex M kit up as a 22,10,14. I was using it a 4 piece and preferred that configuration to a 22,12,14.

Exactly, I love the optimounts, but to each their own.

Yeah, these were an amazing deal. Usually the 10" rack tom goes for more than $299.

Wow, great deal on the kit dirtysticks! I really like the finish. How do like the Masters compared to your Prestige Session Select kit?

It is a brighter kit with a quicker decay and more punch. It's also a louder kit with a nice rich tone. The Prestige Session Select is darker and more thunderous. I can tune the PSSS kit a good bit lower. I keep that kit tuned lower for a nice contrast to the Masters Studio kit which has my ideal drum sound.
