Looking at Yamaha's compatibility chart online, any of the new PCY cymbals will work. If you want two zone, make sure you get the 2-zone model (end in S).
You can look up the campatibility chart yourself just to make sure before you order.
Hello all....
My apologies in advance if this question is old and I missed it when I checked for something similar before posting...
I have an original DTXtreme (the one with the bright orange shells), which I still use at home for practising song arrangements and triggering in logic pro and still sounds and works great.
However, the PCY-80s cymbal pads have had their day and both need replacing but this model has been discontinued. They are a two zone chokable pad using a standard 1/4 inch stereo plug but I am not sure what it is safe to replace with them with.
I live in Hong Kong so whatever I buy will be mail order; I can't just pop down to the shop.
Can anyone advise me what a workable replacement would be that I can swap out without losing functionality?
Thanks!

Thank you! I suspected but I just wanted to be sure because as I said it's not so easy to return things from 8000 miles!
Thanks again
Too bad you aren't close by. I have some extras I could have sold you for a good deal.
