Wow! Only heard about the Coliseum snare by these guys, but haven't seen one up close as yet. And I heard the slotted version is even rarer. I know Nick Mason from Pink Floyd had played one. Great score! That'd be a 12 lug snare from what I remember reading, is that right?

Dont have any pics, I havent set it up yet. If you want to see the pics of it from the add on craigslist just go to Columbia,S.C musical instr. then go to Feb 8. the add says 13pc ludwig. Sorry I dont know how to post the add here.
BTW- I'm told it's an 80's snare, and it is 12 lug.
BTW- The twin bass drums are 26in.

WOW, I assume when you saw the title on CL you probably figured it was a 5pc and as typical they were including the cymbals, throne, stands and such as pieces..LOL Thats the way they do it around here.
Thats a beauty, congrats what are the sizes of those kicks? You can probably create a nice 5 pc kit and quick sell the other for for like $800 or so.

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"
Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
Eight concert toms.............that is an 80s version of the old OCTAPLUS kit Ludwig marketed in the early 70s.
Most of those that I saw had only one 18" floor tom however, since the biggest rack tom is already a 16".
Putting a 10 X 14 on top of that 26 bass will cause you to almost stand up to play them.............at any rate, great deal for $1100.
Here is the photo from the 1973 Ludwig catalog :

I dunno looking at the setup in the sellers ad that kit looks very comfy to play.
