    Have you seen these snare drums ?

    All three for $4000. I am going to wait until they release Animals Icon snare 10"X12" snare.

    I have so had it with overpriced snares.....DW is the worst offender.

    They're overpriced, but for a reason. Limited to 250 each and part of the money goes to a charity of the Icon's choice.

    Not for me. But, I have to admire the workmanship here. The designs are made entirely using wood inlays.

    I'm certain these drums look and sound beautiful.
    But I'd prefer a conventional silver sparkle or WMP any day.

    In addition, as a consumer, when I can purchase a perfectly new black beauty for $575, anything over that price will need to be very persuasive.

    that Peart snare has ben available for a while now, also there is a walnut sycamore version for about a grand. or if you prefer there is the 30th anniversary "Starman" gold plated for..... you guessed it 2,112.00!

    pretty cool if you ahem, "sneeze" money
    I will say the graphic is all inlay as far as I know.
