Aunster, I think what Rioul, and Ringo are both noticing is that pictures look like the ride toms might be mounted backwards. Usually the smallest tom is on the left, so that the toms are ascending in size going left to right, and on the the floor tom (for a right handed drummer). That way, when you do a drum roll, the sound goes from highest tone to the lowest tone through the toms. The pictue makes it appear that you ride toms are mounted opposite to normal.

Yeah, bigger of the two ride toms on the right, nearest the floor tom. You've got it right. It just appeared different in the pic. That's what people were commenting about.

welcom to the forum man, i like the kit.

even if the toms were mixed up there wouldnt be any problem with it. i know of alot of people that dont go small to big. simply so they dont get locked into the typical hi to low style fills. its actually become quite a trend in the last few years to mix up the configuration a little bit. check out marco minneman(sp) and mike manginis kits. or jimmy chamberlain.

Andrea Vadrucci sets his toms up that way, so do a good number of professional players. It's just a different preference I guess.
