Just bought 4 tix for me, bass player and both wives to go check out the Winery Dogs here in a small club on May 18th.
From the vids I've seen on youtube, it is odd to watch Portnoy playing a 1-up, 2-down 5-piece kit after all the years with DT.

I'll bet they put on a good show.................

Adrenaline Mob is opening up for A7X and Hellyeah here next week. I've got tickets. I wish Portnoy was still with AMob. I'd love to see him live.

I've seen him twice with DT and the man-cave drum set.

I've seen both Adrenaline Mob and Winery Dogs shows in the past month. Both shows were poorly attended, although the Mob was playing some one-off warm up shows before opening for A7X.

The Winery Dogs played a great show, filling out their set with some covers (none of them were particularly my taste). Mike was always engaging the audience, and yes, it was strange to see him behind such a small kit (for him)! You could actually see his left leg working the hi hats!

It was great to meet Mike Orlando after the show!

AJ Pero's kit was a MONSTER. I feel bad for his drum tech!

I'll be seeing the Winery Dogs when they come through. They are playing in a small town I used to live in about 30 minutes from where I live now. It's an old movie theater that's been converted into a music venue. They get a lot of shows that I would have thought were beyond their abilities mostly due to the fairly isolated location. More power to them.

Yes, AJ did a 4-5 minute solo. He was almost invisible back there! Mike was the only member who came out to hang with the crowd.
