Repurposed drum gear art

i recently cracked one of my cymbals, but instead of putting it away somewhere to collect dust, i made a wall mount for it :D

anyone else done anything interesting with old drum gear?

Haha i do that with my drumstick VicFirth not Zildjian but i line up the logos

I have a couple of cracked cymbals I dont use. I want to cut one into the shape of the state of PA.

This is a 16" crash cymbal that cracked around the bell. I cut out the center and mounted a 8" mirror in it.

That's almost like an illusion. I thought it was a hole in the wall at first that you put the cymbal around. Sweet.

I made a belt buckle from the bell of the same crash.



This my not quite fit in this thread, but I also made a two sided picture frame. which I put page 5 and 6 of Stick Control for the snare drummer in back to back. I can just flip the frame to see either one. I hang it on the wall in front of my practice pad. much better than trying to keep the book open and I just like it for aesthetics as well.
