anyone ever used/use one of these?

i found this in my dad's old drum gear, and i kinda like the feel of it. very smooth action, and very fast. i would put it on my kit but i use a double. maybe when i set my second kit up i'll use it there.

Yes, I had one many years ago, too. To make adjustments stick a small flat bladed screw driver into either slot and turn the cap. You'll make tension adjustments with one and beater position with the other, IIRC.

    Great pedal.

    Great pedal.
    Totally agree.
The GHOST pedal was the easiest to make fast adjustments to spring tension or beater position............loved it.
When I had my old DB 3-ply Luddies in the 70s, I traded my two Speed Kings in on these new GHOST pedals about a year after they first arrived on the market.
For years, there was nothing better out there.
I wore both of them out and bought two new strap-drive Yammies (in 1988), which I still have...............and they work beautifully.

I miss those old GHOST pedals.............seems to me some manufacturer could advance that idea into a new offering.

Love the Ghost pedals - I'm a recent convert to vintage pedals after using Axis Longboards for years and DW5000s before. I don't know that I'll ever go back at this point, except for double bass work.

The Ghost is the easiest pedal I've owned to adjust... aside from my Premier 252 - that thing is stupid easy to use and feels great!

Always wanted one when I was a kid......................couldn't afford it, so I had to endure my squeaky speed king.
