If I were playin' at DC Stadium tonight, I'd definitely wear a T-shirt that would let me rock the hand drums! (Or if the playlist includes Jimmy Buffett, a Hawaiian shirt, of course!) Having played in settings where I've worn a suit coat...a black leather jacket...and a radio station polo shirt...the T-shirt seems to be the best alternative. (Black leather looks cool, but you end up hotter than a steel mill's blast furnace!)
