    In that pic, there's more sound going to the band than the audience. You could have turned the monitors to the crowd and spun the FOH's towards the band.

    We're playing our favorite venue again tonight. Very tiny bar, about the size of a 4-car garage. Last time we didn't run any monitors. We just pointed one 12" PA speaker back toward us and the other pointed 90 degrees to the side, pointed at the wall. (Mic'ing vocals only).
