I have more than 5 but they are all in the same family.

I picked up a matched set of Paiste Signature Series cymbals and ended up buying the complete setup. 8/10" Splashes. 14" hats. 16, 17, 18, 20, Crashes and 22 Ride.

The sound is so focused and bright yet smooth with no tinny bite. Awesome cymbals, sound and visually.

Mine have changed a bit. Now it is these.

    Sabian SR2 18" Thin (used as a crash-ride cymbal)
    Sabian 17" AAX Studio Crash
    Sabian 16" AAX Concept Crash
    Paiste 13" Medium Hats

I know that is only four cymbals, but that is what I will be using until after January. Peace and goodwill.

If I could only own one setup of cymbals, this would cover pretty much all my needs:

    15" Z3 Hi-Hats
    22" K Constantinople
    18" A Custom Fast Crash
    20" Oriental Crash of Doom
    16" Oriental China Trash

The 2 crashes are legitimately "my sound," the hats are my favorite set of hats I own, the china is my personal favorite china, and the ride (although I can't afford one) is my favorite ride that I've played (I have to get by with other stuff in its place)

The only two constants I have are DW and Zildjian.
