My first kit was a Slingy du-co 1up, 1 down............isn't worth showing.

My first attempt at building a 1up/1down kit. 13/16/22. This is the kit I usually gig with.


My Export kit that I assembled from orphan shells to use as a backup. 12/16/22. I actually prefer the sound spread of the 12/16/22 over the 13/16/22.


My winter project. 13/16/28 with 3ply Ludwig shells. Wish it was a 14/18/28, but oh well...


I'm also working on an 8/13/16 jungle kit made from old Taiwan shells. This drum stuff is addicting.

My standard set up since high school. Saw Bill Bruford playing King Crimson with that set up.If he could play Lark's Tongue era stuff on 4, what more did I need? Went home, ditched stuff, and never looked back.. Only the sizes and cymbals tend to vary....Gigging kit #1. '40's Radio King marble Ballroom set-

My most recent trade acquisition, and my favorite kit so far! 2005-06 Tama Superstars in Liquid Metal wrap. I've been trying to find a 14" floor tom to match to make it a 1 up 2 down, but not having much luck. For now, I'm going to have to "borrow" the 14" FT from my Silverstar kit.
