    ... the ex rubber capitol of the world.

    Joe Walsh and the James gang used to play around these parts .... way back in the late 60s if I remember right. That James Gang drummer was pretty darn good.

    Our band used to do "Tend My Garden". Jim Fox played drums and other instruments.

    Welcome to DC Zone47.

    We are neighbors and I work at one of the "still in existence" rubber companies in Akron.
    I'm not originally from the area, but my wife is. From what she tells me, this area, back in the day. was a pretty happening place musically speaking. She said that Cleveland was a main stop for bands going between Chicago and New York. I would have loved growing up here during that era.

    Spent a lot of nights in the bars in Akron in the 80's.

    welcome, yes jimmy fox was a hell of a drummer. saw the james gang twice at the spectrum in philly pa.
