Sabian!!!
I think the problem is that my current seat is too soft so Iīm sitting on the plank after some time in spite of the fact that Iīm not very weight.
A friend of mine tells me that the TAMA 1st chair ist very soft as well. Maybe not the best choice for me.
Sorry Tom and thank you for your correction!
Can you put another cushion on top?
I donīt know. I canīt find an upholsterer (I donīt know the right word...) close to my village. But I guess it will be very expensive.
I mean just get a chair cushion and put it on top. I know a keyboard player that uses two or three cushions.
Ah. Now I know what you mean ;-)
Thats an good idea. Iīm going to try it today.
Iīm mostly on the move when Iīm playing my drums. I hope it works.
I love my RocNSoc.. have you looked or tried sitting in one of those?
No I didnīt but itīs another good idea.
Hi again!
RocīnīSoc sounds very good.
What about the Pork Pie Thornes? Are they good as well?
Go with the Roc N Soc. Your cheeks will thank you.
I did not trip and fall. I attacked the floor and I believe I am winning.
i had a pork oie and a roc n soc hydraulic at the same time. I still have the roc n soc.

http://www.redskymary.com/ NOT MY BAND, JUST A GREAT LOCAL BAND WHO SHOULD BE SOOO MUCH BIGGER IMO
ok. thanks for your wonderful advice.
I think I will order the Rocīnīsoc. Its just a little bit cheaper than the DW.
I tried out a DW 9120 Air-ride the other day. It's now on the top of my wants list.
I just bought a new Gibraltar 9600 throne this week. I'll use it for the first time tomorrow night, so we'll see how it feels after a 4hr gig. So far, I'm impressed. It's very well built. The screw adjustment with lock is super stable. Best of all, it adjusts up to 28" (I like to sit high). Not bad for $75.00. My main concern was to have a solid base that adjusts high enough. If the padded seat isn't up to par, I can always add a better seat to the base and then use the Gibraltar seat pad on cheap folding bar stool.

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"
Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
