    Default Pink Floyd Endless River

I am a huge Pink Floyd fan.
And this new album has got to be the biggest disappointment $28.00 can spend.
18 songs, 9 are under two minutes, and all nine sound the same.
    Only one song has words

I am hoping it will grow on me, but I'm afraid I'll be dead before that happens.

I think the wall is the only Pink Floyd album I like from beginning to end.

Dark Side of the Moon is cool too but I've got to admit that The Wall is my fave as well.

You cannot beat "Wish you were here". The whole album/CD is good. Just my humble opinion.

"Animals", "Wish You Were Here", "Dark Side of the Moon", and "The Wall" have inspired me for years. It's the lyrics....for me it's all in the lyrics. Thanks for the "cliff notes" Pops. I'll save my money...

I'm glad you warned us Pops. I went and sampled a few tracks of this "album". Being the PF fan that I am, all I can say is, it's complete rubbish. Sounds like old recycled tracks from their previous albums mixed into the new songs.

Thank you for saving my wallet from taking a hit.

That's exactly what it is. They pieced together all the leftover snippets from the Division Bell sessions, added a few new overdubs and called it a "new studio album."

Two members gone. Gotta accept that their glory days are past.

That's what you get for paying for music! I was really surprised to see they had a new one coming out, kinda figured it would be a cash grab...

Honestly, PF are an interesting band. They have 3.5 truly incredible albums (the wall is 1.5), Animals is pretty good, then it's a pretty steep drop from there IMO.

To me it sounds like 9 attempts at a lead in or an exit to a song.

Good or bad my wife WILL (note the caps) be getting it for me for Christmas.

By the time I throw the wrapper away she'll have it playing and put in her CD
collection afterwords and I may never see it again. That's just how she rolls.
