Well I have had a cherry bomb for a couple of years now and I love it. I keep waiting for a Cherry bomb, black panther kit to come out. I will be getting one for sure.

I have a mapex 5x10 (not a b/panther) but a steel snare. Bought it a long time ago, did not use it much, but now I have it as a side snare off my hi hat. Has a nice crack to it and well made I might ad.

In 2002 when I bought my BP Snare I wrote to Mapex asking if they were going to make an entire BP Kit. At the time they said no plans but sent me a ton of Mapex bling-bling.

Then 12 years later look what happened? There is now a complete BP kit on the market.

Well I did change the way they shipped drums from the factory, and got them to make custom sizes, for everyone, for the limited edition birch/walnut kits. When you have spent as much money as I have on Mapex stuff, they should at least have an ear!

Great pair of snares there Spaz, that Cherry snare looks stunning. After you getting the hammered brass 6.5 x 14 recently it sure looks like you have caught the Mapex bug
