I've been looking at replacing both of my double pedals... I have a super old Tama iron cobra and also a older dw3000
I'd be interested in pics of your best one. Also does it have a case?
I have two, possibly 3 sets of TAMA bass drum double pedals that I'm thinking about selling since I'm going for it with consolidating my drum gear.
One set is a 200 series, one is 300 series and the third is top of the line.
I haven't decided on a fair price for any of them and not sure I'm selling the TotL model.
If anyone is interested I'd be happy to supply pictures. I have to dig the pedals out, put them together and take pictures and right now I'm feeling the waters.
Pictures upon request. Thanks for any interest.

The 300 and the Iron Cobra have hard plastic cases.
The 200 does not.
I'll post pictures tonight.
Thanks for your interest.

I been thinking about trying out a double pedal. The Lower the price the better as I doubt I will stick with it but ya never know. I am looking at a set of IC locally here the guy wants $150 but I am not sure I want to even spend that much.
I can feel a small difference on single pedals with a single chain and others with a double chain. Is it even more so with a double pedal? I imagine a single chain double pedal is probably not something people stick with?

http://www.redskymary.com/ NOT MY BAND, JUST A GREAT LOCAL BAND WHO SHOULD BE SOOO MUCH BIGGER IMO
My only opinion between single and double chain is quality and expense. I've never snapped a strap style pedal or ever broken a chain. It's more of peace of mind.
My least expensive one is the 200 series. It works great and was bought just to try out. I'm asking $100 for that one. It was posted on my DW sale thread as a combination sale with the drums but the buyer didn't need them and I believe there are pictures of it there.
I'll post pictures of all 3 after I get home tonight and you can decide what you think.

The Iron Cobras are definitely smoother but they all have a good feel and enough adjust-ability to be different.
The Cobras have weights that slide on the beater shaft for fine tuning the action. However, they don't have dual face beaters so you will only use the felt side unless you change out beaters.
Having the flex to switch from felt to hard plastic in a short term makes it easy to adjust.

If you can talk my wife into it, I would gladly take those Cobras off your hands.
