I don't have a need to permanently mount one for the music I play so if the need arises I bolt one down on the hat rod.

I have 3 cowbells and wanted them all close together. I ended up using 2 LP claws, one clamped on either side of a timbale. I've experimented with placement of the timbale and cowbells and for now they'll be on the right side of my setup.
