Stop, your killing me! It would be so easy to fix. Slide mount over, turn l-rod. You need to show off those lovely badges! Now I did it. I said badges! :o

On a white resonant head, write 100 times:
I will not hide the badges
I will not hide the badges
    I will not . . . .

    Aaaaaaaahhhhhh

Rich, with the rack you could do the same thing with the mounts, either move them far apart like you did here or move them close together simulating how they would be positioned if you had them bass drum mounted.

That kit does not need a rack though IMNSHO.

I literally felt a stress release when I saw the second pic. I could feel my blood pressure lowering. No kidding, they look soooo much better at those angles. And for a guy that knows how to set his drum head logos correctly, I must say I am really surprised that we have to take you to task for this, Richard! (you know you are in serious doo doo when I have to use your given name!)

Let's not let this be an issue again, shall we?

Some people have been known to have issues with the old SATURN and ORION badges to the point where they make a big deal about it. I think my SATURNS look classy as heck and the badges don't do anything but add to the class. But that's just me...

Is that story about the Mapex badges your story, too, Sticks? I'm still a newbie here, so I don't know the story behind the badges controversy.

Lets just say some people will find anything to attack you with on the internet! It did spur me on to right a decent song.

Do you mean a decent song or did you write a song about going down?

You guys are cracking me up this morning. What a silly thread this has become.
    Love it!!
Oh, and that finish on the Saturn's is freaking crazy! Just enough purple with a massive dose of WOW!
    Proudly playing:
    Doc Sweeney Drums
    A bunch of snares
    A bunch of cymbals

    Off-Set double pedals

I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!
