I just got and rmv kit. Put coated ec2s on it (bought the wrong pack). They sound awesome. Sound is almost as good as my saturn kit. Paid $350 from guitar center used. A friend said he paid $1500 for a a similar kit minus the snare.
It's Brazilian maple and only a 5ply. Super loud.

Awesome shells, no longer distributed in the US.
I think I heard something about the lugs being a weak point (some stories of broken ones)
Very nice kits, but they don't get a lot of attention so resell is typically difficult because nobody has heard of them lol.

I've heard rumors they are going to be coming back.

I had the thicker shell version when they first came to the states. 24" kick, 13", 16", 18" toms. No snare. Green sparkle. Fantastic kick drum sound. Used the 18" as a kick drum too. Whole kit sounded great. Sold it for car parts about years ago. Wish I hadn't.

I remember seeing them either advertised or for sale, but I can't remember where (Modern Drummer maybe?). I've not heard much about RMV, but what little I've heard has been good.
I just checked out their web site, and it looks like they make quality kits. It is in Brazile, so I could not read it. I did understand that they use Canadian maple. They also produce their own heads and hardware for their kits. All I found on fleabay was snares a couple of floor toms and a bunch of heads.
