Looks really nice. Don't clean it?
As some of you know...............I recently bought a 22" Paiste Blue Bell Ride - Stewart Copeland Ride and it took quite awhile for it to show up.
The packaging was bad..........it was inside of an evans bass head cardboard box, with no padding, but luckily the cymbal made it safe
here are a couple of pics...........have rehearsal on Thursday..........can't wait to see how she sounds.
This is my first Paiste................I'm worried about the "Colorsound" coating coming off when I clean it.
Any advice?
Looks really nice. Don't clean it?
Signature here
I think it is anodized and should be able to take cymbal polish.. Maybe contact Paiste and ask them. That is very nice

Clean frequently - with regular mild dishwashing solution - but ensure you dry it thoroughy! Don't use any regular cymbal or metal cleaner on that coated finish.
I've been curious about that cymbal for ages, they look amazing but I'm not sure what effect putting colour coating on a cymbal has - how do you like it?
That looks awesome. Congrats on the GAS.
Very nice. Interested to hear how you like it. I've been thinking of getting one.
My advice............don't clean it.
Nice!
Wow thats a beauty
Beautiful - nice clear pingy sound on that pie.
I wouldn't even play it. Just look at it. No don't even look at it.
I'm pretty anal with my cymbals........I like them clean
I got this used, there are fingerprints and I want to get rid of them, but hesitant because I heard Paiste, especially on their colorsounds, have a "special" coating
yep, checked their website, may just call and talk to someone
I tried some mild soap and scrubbing, but that didn't work. I haven't been able to play it much and can't tonight.....hopefully tomorrow
Thanks brother
Will let you guys know........practice on Thursday and playing this weekend..........should be a good test
Thanks Marko
Thanks MYK
I'm hoping...I always loved Stewart Copeland's sound
Thanks, it is gorgeous.......makes me want to get a blue kit to match!
Nice . I would just use small amount of vinager and water to clean. Thanks for sharing
So whats so wrong with laughing. Some need to learn to laugh
I love the look of that cymbal. How does it sound?
I wouldn't recommend any cymbal cleaner.. that stuff is strong.. Just wipe it down regularly and use some water and light soap
yep.............more GAS
Thanks. I've never tried the vinegar mix on cymbals, but have read about it..............that and lemons................going to research more.
Thanks................haven't been able to play her yet...............maybe tonight.
Sweet ride.

Wow... looks great Butch!
I've never understood why they call it a "Blue Bell Ride" when the bell is not blue Maybe they should use a more military-style nomenclature: "Cymbal/Blue/Bell Ride/22"" . I bet you'll like it.

I agree beautiful cymbal man. Yes, vinegar works well on cleaning cymbals, have not tried the lemons yet but have seen a video on it and seems to clean pretty good and fast. I always thought that the bell was the center part of the cymbal

So......have you played it yet? Geez.
Hey longgun, we never got a sound report on your new Paiste! It's been 4 months....what's the verdict? By the way, it is absolutely gorgeous to look at!
