Ok. Here is review #2 from me. I cleaned my cymbals tonight, but, instead of Sabian cymbal cleaner, which I use ALL the time, I used a new product. It is called MusicianNomad cymbal cleaner. After searching for Sabian stuff, to no avail, I purchased the MusicNomad stuff. Now I like Sabian because you spray it on, wait about thirty seconds and buff it off. The first thing I notice about the new cleaner is , there is no spray nozzle. Well great, more rubbing. So, I get home, get a pile of rags, and sit down for a nice long evening of rubbing. Well, to my surprise, this stuff is easy to work with. It states you can apply directly to the cymbal or put it on a rag and wipe it on. I tried the direct method first. It came out in a paste similar to liquid car wax. It spread evenly and I noticed it working right away. I grabbed a clean rag as instructed and started buffing. This cymbal turned out great. On the next one I tried putting the cleaner on the rag first. Again, it went on easy and buffed off easy. After cleaning my crashes and ride, I noticed the application rag was getting damp. So I grabbed a hi hat and just rubbed the rag on it and as I guessed, there was enough product on the rag to polish out a set of hats. I also noticed it was not removing my logos. You can use this product sparingly, so one bottle should last a while. All in all, I am very pleased with this product. If you like clean cymbals but hate a lot of labor, then you should check this stuff out.

Thanks for the review tamashane. I saw this product, but didn't know anything about it. I need to buy more cleaner. Looks like I'll have to try this stuff.

By the way, did you like this product better than Sabian cymbal cleaner? I use and like Sabian's cymbal protector. Keeps them looking great for a longer period of time.

Just like with a car... a little goes a long way and people tend to use to much wax. I used a cymbal cleaner and same thing used way to much polish.

    Any before or after pics?

I like the results just as well if not better. It also removed all the stick marks from the hats and ride. As far as ease of use, the Sabian cleaner is easier and less messy. But, I think I may have used too much the first time. It spreads really well and does an amazing job.

Absolutely correct. I didn't really expect it to come out as quick. I found that by putting just four nickel size drops on the large cymbals and two or three smaller drops on the smaller cymbals worked really well. Sorry, no before and afters. Maybe next time.

I'm glad to hear it also didn't take off the logo. I cleaned one once using a paste (name slips my mind) and it said logo safe but let me tell you it took it right off! I was livid.

Yeah, I'm kind of anal like that also. I used a automotive metal polish once and it removed about 50% of the logo's. I'm careful of what I use now. I got a bunch of info from this site on different methods of cleaning and how different cleaners react with the logo's.

Personal opinion ,for $40 bucks Sabian will refinish and redo logo including shipping back.
Used them a few times all ready and they came back show room perfect.

I'm not real worried about these cymbals. They are Xs20's, which are very good cymbals, but, I'm holding out for a collection of AAXS's.

O.K. As promised, here are some pictures of this product in action.

This is the before. Notice how dark the color of the cymbal appears.

This is after cleaning the raised part of the cymbal. Notice the change in color and the shine and reflections coming out.

This is the whole cymbal cleaned. After looking at the first image you can see a nice difference. You may also notice the faded logo. This is not from this cleaner. I used a metal polish once and it removed most of the logo. As I stated in my review, this product is easy to use and works great. It also has a pleasant odor and does not contain any acids.

I clean my cymbals with lemons. Works great, never damages the logos, and smells wonderful. Rinses off easily and no chemicals.

Holy China, I don't know if it is better, but I would say as good. The only draw back is, as I said, it is not a spray.

Just a tad bit more info: This product seems to put a protective layer on the cymbal also. I had some finger prints on a crash and just wiped them off with a clean dry rag.
