The only thing I would do differently is move the floor toms to the other side.

That is the reason that I think he is a lefty going by where is snare, throne and hhts are.

UPDATE: Since my girlfriend is going to be moving in with me, she's starting to go through her house and get rid of things she doesn't need. One of those things is a 34" Flat panel TV! She's giving it to me for the Drum Room! So next week, I'll be wall mounting it on the wall I face while seated at the throne. I'll them run a cable from my laptop (which will be next to the kit, for recording) to the TV. I can use it for keeping an eye on the DAW while tracking, or watching instructional videos. I'll post more pics as it progresses.

Ok, the TV is installed! I'm loving it! Here's my view from the throne.



I had originally just wall mounted it, and let the cables hang, but I wanted a more professional look, so I installed a new electrical outlet behind the TV, and I installed a couple VGA wall plates, one low, and one behind the TV.








I love having the ability to watch the tracks as I record. It great for watching Youtube videos and other instructional videos as well.

And while I was at it, I bought a new small desk for the Drum Room as well. It's sitting beside the drum kit, within arms reach from the throne. It's just big enough, without being too big. My next project will be to build a small rack case to mount to the bottom of the desktop. Then I can mount my Tascam US-1800 in that, and get it off of the desktop.

It is a really nice feature. I've been playing along with drumless tracks recorded by my band, and recording different drum ideas on top of them. Watching the tracks on the screen is a huge help.
