    Default single kick pedal?

    I struggle to emulate this.

Is he using a double pedal, or two kick drums even?

I think he's using a single pedal because he barks the hi hat quite a bit and plays them closed. So his left foot is all hi hat.

    Thanks for all replies everyone......

.....and...from 0.24-0.33 approx, also a single kick pedal?
    link below

    I struggle to nail it.
(I love the 'practice' vocal going on in the background)

Yep. But if you listen closely you can hear the high hat going thru the entire song. He has a double bass setup, but on Radar Love he's using single bass. (You can see the hi hat in use, too, in between the cameraman's obsessive shots of the girl bouncing her . . . uh . . . attributes?)

Considering the time this record realesed (1976) then it's definitely a single drum pedal. It's funkish and easy to play
    Drums Traps A400 with rack
    Cymbals all Meinl
    Raker 14" HH
Raker 20" heavy and 21" medium Rides
Raker 16" medium & heavy crashes
    MB10 17" china
    Lightning 10" splash

Hardware: DW 5002 twin pedal, DW 9000 HH stand and Pearl BR-2000 stool, Adam CS-90 x1 cymbal boom stand
