    Default Cheap O-rings

If you can't find the size O-ring to match your tom, or if you are just plain broke after replacing your heads, you can make your own O-rings from the old heads. Just cut them out of the old heads using a compass with an exacto knife blade on the end. You want to make them about 1/4" smaller than the drum you are going to put it on, and cut them so they are about 1" wide. I have done this for all my drums and now I have a set of O-rings for free! It works great!

Thats a great idea. Thanks alot! I've been looking for a 10'' O-ring for weeks, I guess I'll have to make one myself.
