    According the The Music and Sound Retailer, KHS America, U.S. distributor of Mapex drums, has acquired Hohner Incorporated, U.S. distributor of Sonor drums.

    KHS president Tabor Stamper said, "We're very excited about the opportunities this acquisition creates for KHS and Hohner brands."

    Yes that is kind of old news now. I think there is a thread here somewhere about it. It came out around NAMM time.

    I would love to get another Sonor drumset. I have my very first original Sonor kit from 1987 I received when I was five. It's my most prized possession. A kit I will never sell.
