Tom you're just stoking the fire with a question like this.
There are so many amazing drummers out there, I don't think I can pick a top 10. But my favorite drummer of all time is John Bonham.
You often see lists of the 10 best drummers in magazines and on blogs. Obviously some people value popularity more, some like chops and others like a deep groove and would rate them that way. This really isn't about what other people think. Who are the 10 best drummers of all time to YOU.
Remember the rules and no bashing other people's opinions. Keep it nice!

Love John Bonham's playing. I was a late bloomer with him. Couldn't appreciate him as much in the early days but can now really see how he had a special kind of groove and sound. Some more technical guys:
Chris Adler

I think the music they played is also important. Neil Peart is great, but Rush is not exactly music for everyone. I think a lot of the amazing Prog-rock drummers have this issue.
So drummers who played "main stream"music, my faves:
rich, bonzo, mitchell, jo jones, tony williams, elvin jones, zigaboo modeliste, ringo, brad wilk, chad smith (dont really like RHCP tho), and a bunch of the other guys mentioned above

Sabian El Sabor 20" Ride
