Underappreciated drummers

Very true..but I feel kids growing up today don't really listen to bands like the Beatles or guys like Ian Paice mostly because they see classic rock as Dad rock lol..I know my son thinks this. I tell ya the guy that did those early Heart records was pretty good to!

Pat Torpey of Mr. Big. Fantastic drummer

Old thread here but just found out that Pat died back in Feb. Saw him with Mr. Big in the early 90's. He did a great solo.. sang the Beatles song Yesterday while playing double bass through the whole thing. It was both funny and impressive.
