    Hey guys,

Seeing how many Kansas drummers we have in here. I'm currently in Manhattan, KS teaching and performing. I saw a lot of Kansas City people on here. What about those near Manhattan or Topeka?

I'm not very far north of you. Only about 15 miles north of the Kansas/NE line on HWY77.

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

Ha Ha Ha. Tickets for a highway in Kansas. I've always been a big Kansas fan. They are going to be at an old theater in Wichita. I'm expecting the sound to be great, as well as the view. I've only seen them a couple of times. I bet that I've got more than 10 of their albums. Many of them on vinyl. I don't have the 8 tracks anymore. Lol.

The lead singer and keyboardist for Kansas now is Ronnie Platt. He's been a local here in Chicagoland for many years. Golden pipes.

Backwards? Wichita is the air-capital of the world. We build Cessna, Beechcraft, Learjet, Spirit (formerly Boeing) among others. The county I live in, is the wheat capital of the world. I hardly think our state is backwards. You don't want to know what Kansan's think about the folks on either coast. It's good to be in the middle. Joe Walsh is from Kansas, every Sat. we work in the yard, pic up the dog do and hope that it's hard.Hee Hee.

If you go there, see if TOTO is putting on a concert. Best band ever, IMHO.

What Lefty said. I'll take drumming in the air capital over anywhere else!
