    Default Down sizing

    Hello again everyone!

I currently play a 2013 Ludwig Keystone (13,16,24) and I'm looking to down size to a smaller kit without spending a fortune. I've been looking at the Ludwig Club Date SE but I'm concerned that would be a downgrade in quality. Does anyone have any experience with these kits?

Any suggestions for kits? I'd liked to go with 12,14,20 or an 18 bass.

    Thanks

    I like 10, 15, 20.
It could also be combined to your existing kit when you feel like hitting more drums.

Are you interested in a trade at all as I happen to be looking to move up for a 24" kick?

I have a gorgeous Saturn with a 20" kick, 10, 12 rack toms and a 14" ft with legs. If interested PM me and we can discuss.

Ever consider getting a 20" kick and using your current toms? 20/13/16 is pretty versatile.
    Mmm... Saturns.

I did this with my old RMV kit. Used my 18" Tom as a kick, and had 13" and 16" toms. Great kit.

We ended up meeting and trading kits, Not sure how many on here have met and or traded. Wish we would have had time for a beer or something but the place we met at was packed and it took each of us 90 minutes to drive and meet in the middle after work. Fred seems to love to Saturn and I really like the Keystones although admittedly I have been sick as a dog since friday and have only taken it apart, cleaned it and put on some new heads but just not had the energy or time to run her through the paces yet. I will post pics soon.

If both of you are happy, that has to be a fair trade, right? How 'bout some pics? Hope you feel better. Hay fever has been torturing me lately.
