Thanks Butch!, it's so much better when the people in the band are down to earth and just basically good guys to be around and work with.

We played Saturday night at a private party way out in the Georgia sticks and it was a blast. I'm a Yankee and proud of the fact but there's something to be said for southern hospitality. Good food, drink, bands and great people.

These pics are from my piece of crap phone, but there were two trailers for the bands to set up on. Scott and Slim were on the front one of course and I was on the back one. It sounded incredibly good, and I think it may have been the bounce back from the house.

Before sound check early in the day. I heard that when we ran thru some stuff one of the hogs out in the back ran thru it's pen hahaha. They had three hogs back there.

I haven't posted much lately but a lot has been going on. We played a show in September at a place called The Basement in Atlanta which went well and since then we've been rehearsing 5 songs that were recorded last weekend at Glow In The Dark studios here in Atlanta. Really nice studio, big! and well respected as a lot of signed bands do there recordings there. Underoath has recorded all their releases there.

Took a few pics but not sure what was wrong with my camera. everything came out blurry . We got bass, drums and guitar on Saturday and went back in Sunday to get vocals.

I think we got killer sound from the bass drum, snare and cymbals, The rack and floors were so so. I was debating weather to use the Pearl brass ff but went with my early 90's 7x14 Tama birch Artstar and so happy I did. I wanted to get that true woody sound with these songs and it delivered nicely. Aquarian Studio X with power dot took the beating.

It'll be awhile before it's all finished but when it is I hope to post a song or two here

Thursday nights show was a lot of fun. We only got a 30 min set but banged it out pretty good. Took a couple of pics, one of my drums right before we started and the other was of a band called The Scragglers with Brent Hinds from Mastodon seated in foreground. He was playing a steel guitar? I think that's what it was. They were a trip lol
