Any decent brand for me.
I'm using a pair of Regal Tip - Porcaro's at the moment; but any old 5a will do.
I have some Vic Firth's and some ProMarks too.

Quite like Steve Gadd's 5a's form Vic Firth, they are wide but light, and the sweet spot is on the American flag (according to jojo mayer anyway)
Just about any stick for me. In 40+ years playing, I still have no clue what the alpha-numerical designations for sticks mean. I only know of two kinds of sticks...
Feel right
Don't feel right

Los Cabos Jazz Red Hickory

VIc Firth 5b nylon tip...tips have never come off, maybe i've chipped one, but I don't remember that....i find wood tips just break too quickly, leaving flat edges on the tip...hate that!
Vic Firth 5A Novas - got a few paits free with some drum heads I bought last year and I've just got round to trying them out - been using them about a month. So far they seem as good as any other stick I've tried (but I haven't tried many).
using the Neil Peart Signature 747 wood Oak ProMark
Promark 420
I really like the promark shira kashi oak 7a's that I just got, but I think I'm gonna try out their jazz sticks as well (same stick, just 5/8" longer)
Tama Swingstar 3 piece 1993 (refinished wine red)

I've been all over the maps with sticks lol! I recently went back to Vic Firth 5A wood tip. I feel like I've been having better stick control and speed.
Regal Tip 5A's, 7A's, Jazz and VF 5A Nylons and 7A Nylons. Depends on how dry my hands are...
SONOR 6 pc Special Edition 3007's red maple, old Pearl Brass 14x6 FF snare, Yamaha Tour Custom maple 8 pc., Tama 4 pc., honey amber B/B, Ludwig Supralite chrome 14x6.5 steel snare, Paiste, Saluda & Zildjianhttp://www.facebook.com/DerailedRockers/

Vic Firth Keith Carlock sticks, along with various mallets, rods, brushes etc. Meinl and Vic Firth timbale sticks.
2B Vic Grip's
I used to use anything I picked up but now it is exclusively Regal 5B Maple with wood tips. However, I have been experimenting with the new Bosos.
Vic Firth American Classic 5BN. Tried the wood tips, but they kept breaking the tips along the grain. I've never had one single problem with the nylons.
