Ok I had to do this video, I absolutely thought this song rocked hard, so I made a video, my feet suck in this video compared to his, my kick is way to loud, but I had such a blast playing this song, I just hit play and went for it, no practice, nothing, this songs just seriously kicks.

Try not to be to harsh on me, I know it is really off, just enjoy the song.

AWESOME Kev! Really really nice. I thought the bass sounded great. But then again, I love the sound of a loud deep heavy metal bass

    Hey, Kev--

Sue is right, man! I'm not normally a metal dude, but I'm listenin' to your video as I'm writin' this, and you sound ready to go places! You're kickin' big-time--and even if you were a little off, that was a great job for the first time you ever played it.

Knowin' you, bro', it's only gonna get better!

keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

Well Steveo that is a really good question, that I have no clue how to answer lol, it is just something I have always done, my friends call it my signature groove, cause I do it alot, I picked it up from one of Dream Theaters tunes, were Portnoy does it at the beginning of one of there songs(can't remember which one, sorry)and I just thought it was cool, sorry I could not be more helpful.

As far as gear goes, I absolutely LOVE my kit, my cymbals, everything about my kit I love. But ya know man, with good tuning, good heads and decent cymbals ANY kit can sound great and be fun to play, and I am more than willing to help you if you need it.

Has anyone ever watched the movie SINGLES? It was filmed in Seattle, when all the grunge band were coming out, well in that movie, when Alice n Chains is playin, that is the exact same club we are fixin to play in December, I am so stoked, I can't hardly stand it.

What it sounds like he's doing is called quads. It's basicially doubles....he's hitting bass bass snare snare but sped up. You can do a different variation hitting only once on the bass followed by doubles on the hands. I'm not sure if he has a double pedal or is doing a double with a single pedal. It's pretty easy it just sounds complicated. Blessings........
