I can't believe it. I had no idea he was battling cancer. I'll miss him here on drumchat, and I offer my condolences to his family, and everyone affected. I've seen a lot of him on this forum, and I was always happy to read his posts. I'm glad I got to know him on this forum. Rest in peace my friend.

I'm in shock. I was wondering why we hadn't seen him lately.
Wonder if we should post a memorial like we have for Frank? Can drummer allow that?

    Yes, of course. Very sad.

Everyone loves FREE... like this free drum forum. But like your car and even your drums, they require upkeep and maintenance and that requires money.

Will you consider Shopping at Drum Bum to help support this forum?

    Or make a donation here.

I know from working with Drum Bum through the years, that this forum is costly to run. It requires server fees, hosting, ongoing moderation, advertising, software upgrades, security certificates and IT work when it breaks. All in addition to the expenses that come from running a business. These costs are offset (hopefully) by members that click through to Drum Bum to make a purchase now and then, if not make a contribution to help keep it running.

On behalf of Drum Bum, thank you for your consideration. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

This is very sad. Rick and I shared a deep appreciation for Neil Peart's work. He was always encouraging and kind to me about my modest efforts in paying tribute to Peart's drumming on YouTube.

    RIP, my friend Rick. :(

This can't be real.. He's been here as long as I can remember, I don't want to think of him as gone. I'm disturbed by the news a bit, I guess. Holy crap.

Nobody did, you know Cancer is a very personal thing that no one wants to share for different reasons. I hope wolfie56 went out painlessly and drumming till the end.
