Bah.. was going to post that same vid :(
I had a aax suspended(on a stand) beautiful cymbal, one of the better sounding I tried awesome crash ride (I was looking for a 2nd ride)tried at home :21" sweet ride,21" RBDR, 20"+21"stage ,20" medium Zildjian ,the only reason I took the suspended back was because I was worried about resale if I wanted to put it on cl down the road,I ended up with 20" HH medium great cymbal
How are they made that makes them different from any other quality cymbals?
all the best...
I've always wondered too what the differences are besides the handles. Same thing with marching band crashes

Great five minute of the box.
I have a school suspensded symphonic cymbal on one of my kits. It's a beautiful washy brilliant sound. But a very soft cymbal to be used with mallets.
It's a Sabian Suspendid Orchestral HH 18"
For a long time before I switched my crashes to Meinl I was using a Sabian 18" SR2 light suspended. These are refurbished from other pro Sabian lines and what I had was something hand hammered. It was one of the most versatile crashes I had ever heard, very responsive even with fingers and it would work with just about any cymbal set-up, from bright to dark. Very balanced sound.
