I absolutely LOVE this photo. The curve coming off the bridge really sells it, to me.

This was fun, and perhaps a bit dangerous. Pacing this train at 55mph up the freeway. No look, arm out the sunroof of my Jeep just firing away.

Whitby Sunset. July 2015 by Kevin Frost, on Flickr
One of my new favorites. Took this Friday after work. Gorgeous evening sunlight and an orange BNSF leader.

Also took this Friday...on my lunch break:

This is the Norfolk Southern Geometry train, doing track inspection past an old Reading RR passenger station.

And the entire train is in this frame taking a stop on the old Reading RR bridge over the Susquehanna River. It was FRIGID this day and we had just gotten 3 feet of snow.

Thanks for bumping this, Kevaruka! I haven't posted in here in a while...so here's a few of my most recent works.
I'll start with this...b/c it's a shot I've wanted to get since I started taking RR photos a little over a year ago. The Bessemer and Lake Erie railroad. I remember these mighty orange beasts hauling coal through Greenville PA when I was a kid. My uncle worked for the BLE. Now, they are owned by the Canadian National Railroad and there are only 3 original orange locomotives left on Bessemer property. I was lucky enough to get one leading over this gorgeous viaduct near Mercer PA.

This I shot last week in gorgeous morning sun. That's the king of the wide cab, an EMD SD80MAC (5000 h.p.) pulling coal loads.

I love slow shutter speed. Pans, zoom pans, blurs. Love it all. This is basically my back yard. Shermans Creek.

And finally, the mighty Conrail heritage unit popping out of the tunnel entering Enola Yard.

Love these photos, dude. Do you like trains, by any chance?
SPLAT-BOOM-SPLAT-BOOM-SPLAT-BOOM-GIGGA-TISH!
HAHA! Maybe.
Thanks!
