I am going to be receiving my alesis dm10x mesh kit soon, and am wondering which sticks would work best with it? Does it really matter what type of sticks I get?

I use lighter sticks because I don't want to wear out the pads or damage the ekit.

    No, it doesn't matter.

Heavy sticks because you will probably need to hit them harder than an A kit.

Nylon tips to protect the mesh.

But, no, it doesn't really matter.
