    Great drummer and I also noticed that he used a lot of tape on his drums. Back then in the 60-70's that was the norm to use tape did not have the heads that we have today. Thanks for sharing Slinky.

    YW, lots of tape indeed. Looks like tops and bottoms were taped up. There's some good audio only clips out too.

    Yes his drums sounded pretty good and I don't think they where miked back then.

    Ronnie is my favorite living drummer... If you can find a copy of the greensboro concert, the whole concert is played really fast and suspicious minds is about double time, it's insane.. and Ronnie just lets loose like a monster..

    But.. the thing that amazes me is with Elvis he had to play a giant catalog of songs, and styles.. and you would just hear Elvis call out a random song and BAM 2 seconds later its up and running...

    This isn't the fast one.. but good enough

    Hey Icetech, good video. When I searched for Ronnie Tutt the only thing that came up was one of your earlier posts where you named him. I thought he'd already have a thread in here.
