Jomox M-Base electronic bass drum.

I got this off Ebay a few years ago, from Germany. It was used equipment, but I purchased it directly from the guy who makes and sells them (he had already come out with the M-Base 2, by that time). To my knowledge the only dedicated bass drum module on the market. A handful of preset sounds, plus the capacity to create and store dozens of your own. I honestly haven't tried to figure out how to program it, yet. I have just been using all the sounds that were already in place when I received it. Some very drum-like, others more spacey and/or goofy sounding... but all exclusively low-frequency.

I have never seen anyone else with one these. Wonder if anyone else here has used one ?






I am not a huge electronics guy by any means and I don't know what some of those indicators even mean ... but this thing is cool and I like to juxtapose the hi-tech with the "rustic" with my various DIY set-ups :
