My children side by side ( l to r ) Gretsch Catalina Maple, Tama Starclassic B/B, Tama Starclassic Birch.
Went online and found these beautiful drums that I've been looking for at a good price, and couldn't pass on them. Got them used from Guitar Center. They are a set of Tama Starclassic Birch (2006) in diamond dust wrap. 8,10,12,14 inch toms, 22x18 bass. I had some repairing and additional upgrading to do on these babies, almost done, but still looking great. The bass drum hoops were in horrible condition, so I had to buy two hoops, ordered some wrap for the hoops ( same color, but different name of color). I'm going to wrap the hoops myself. They will be up and running in no time.

I love that pic. Nice way to show the finishes of your kits. Little blur, but cool color choices. The silver is gonna look great under stage lights.
Proudly playing:
Doc Sweeney Drums
A bunch of snares
A bunch of cymbals
Off-Set double pedals
I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!

Awesome congrats, nice kits, what are the sizes of the other kits?
what a beautiful finish!
You're in a perfect position to answer a question I've had for quite some time. What differences - if any - do you hear between the Starclassic Performer Birch and the Starclassic Birch/Bubinga toms and bass drums? The story, of course, is that the B/B toms have considerably more low frequency content - do they? How about from the audience perspective? Could a disinterested listener hear a significant difference between the two?
Beautiful kits, by the way.
