Congrats on the purchase! I haven't tried the power glide but I absolutely love the flexi glide. It's the most responsive pedal I've ever played. I used the single when I played in a big band and now I'm looking for a pair of my own.
I retired my 40yr old Tama single pedal single chain, still worked well but it wasn't as smooth anymore, bought a like new iron cobra powerglide double pedal.I've been trying pedals out at the stores mainly because I wanted to feel the difference between the cobras powerglide and rolling glide,I've been reading that some people can feel quite a difference, and honestly I couldn't tell, both very smooth, but felt solid under my feet,I actually like the powerglide better it felt a bit more solid against the drum(I know thats the design)so I've been checking the local cl and this one came up(didn't want to by new, they are $499 up here),so this is in great condition honestly like new,I don't think the guy even adjusted anything on it, no screws or bolt heads are damaged or even look touched and the beaters are hardly worn..$290 it's a good day! ,Mike

I use the Powerglides & love them. Good choice
Thanks guys, I compared Pearl Eliminator double,Mapex Falcon double, Speed Cobra double, DW 5000 double, IC rolling glide double,I checked out Jojo mayer single,Demon drive direct single..I really liked the Speed Cobra but a little too light for me,I love the extra pressure from the IC powerglides cam at the end of the bass stroke..DW 5000 was a very close second
I played on one last tuesday and it felt super smooth. I own two Power Glides that are older but still goodies. Built to last that's for sure!
I've become a fan of the Speed Cobras. I think I like the longer footboards. I got the first set in Black with copper and the 2nd set in the brushed finish.
Signature here
After playing on a demon drive for a year, I still prefer my 1st Gen iron cobra power glide.
Mmm... Saturns.
I jus got my IC power glide in the mail today. I'm stuck at work, so i cant play with till 2mrrow. sucks
