Who are your favorite local bands?

Hello everybody.. I guess I'm just looking for new band original bands to check out.. Not so much interested in coverbands but if you know of a great local band that writes their own songs, then heck hook me up and tell me why you like them.

The first one is a fairly new band only been around like a year and if your in the Dallas area they may be looking for a drummer.. They seem to go thru drummers lol..but their pretty good. Nyssa Garcia is a powerhouse vocalist and I like the guy's guitar work as well..He's creative.

The next band I found out about because I knew their drummer for a while
I like Lizlie's vocals a lot..but I think their guitarist are average. But they have been getting popular nationally so who am I to say.

oh yeah an update..I've been monitoring my blood/glucose levels and they are slowly coming down..diabetes is some scary stuff! But yeah I get too much sugar in my blood and it just makes me flat out too sweet!

who in my mind is one the greatest metal guitarist to ever walk the earth..This band Rigor Mortis what can I say about em.. umm crappy singer AWESOME GUITARIST!

Wow that guy can really sing! I'd say he'd give David Covedale a run for his money. Heck I like him better even.

Yeah I go see them about twice a month here and he is a great singer, the lead guitarists has great harmonies and there is nothing he cannot play. The whole band is friggin awesome. Their Album "River child" is great from start to finish which is rare.
